Hope someone can help when i plug in a USB device to the computer it freezes i have no control over computer i have to swich it off at the wall and start again if USB is plugged in before start up...

Direct X 9.0

I've just bought & installed Sims 2 on my PC but it won't play as I get a message saying something like 'no Direct X 9.0 compatible adaptors on this system'. How can I get the game to play?

How do I find the numbers of the key & the radio?

I have just bought a car but the seller did not know the code number for either the key or the radio. How do I get this information? The car is a Rover 420. TIA
