A nice implementation of a technique we have seen before - the clues were fairly tough but became easier once the theme and symmetry became apparent. Thanks, Opsimath....

We have no idea about what the quotation is but that didn't stand in the way of completing the grid. Perhaps too many easy clues for a Listener. Thanks, tnap....

Can't find an existing thread which is surprising. I thought the puzzle was neat enough, the clues were reasonably straightforward. An interesting theme but I would have preferred our own equivalent...

What a splendid puzzle - a worthy commemoration for Waterloo. Easy (for sure) but lots of fun, involving some cute lateral thinking by the setter. Very neatly done indeed....

That was HARD! Satisfying though, with just enough grid feedback not to make this a serious case of stubborn sticky label peeling syndrome. A worthy challenge, indeed. Thank you Brock.

Great fun. Still no idea about the title....

Am I the first? I’m simply astounded by the result. Number theory is just an amazing thing to delve - thanks Elap. And a decent pen/paper/calculator one, too! Although my final checking was reliant...

At first I thought this was going to be a doddle thanks to some generous clues, but it wasn't at all. Stumbled on the theme fairly early on but working out the message from the extra letters,...

I thought this was brilliant. Not quite as tough as it looked at first sight, although a lucky early guess at the theme helped. It all came together very neatly and the final step was beautifully...

A good challenge from one of the most experienced and prolific setters. Some quite simple clues but plenty of others to keep you on your toes, especially with the alterations going on. Thnks Phi...

Nice implementation of an entry method that I'm sure I've seen several times before? Some interesting vocabulary, but nothing too abstruse to deter a first-time solver. Thanks Ares - a pleasant couple...

Excellent, thanks Tibea, and not as daunting as I first feared. Some may be aware, I certainly wasn't....

This had a very satisfying PDM which facilitated solving considerably after a slow start. Certainly no pushover but not too hard either, for which I was grateful after an exhausting Christmas. Thanks...

No-one here? Oh my! Lots of opportunities to go wrong, but a nice work out. Don't you just love the numericals?...

Gosh, that was a workout and a half! I'm not certain I've got the final transcription right, but I'm not too bothered as I don't send in. It's clear what's required, though there's plenty of room for...

Now that was great - a splendid challenge which yielded its secrets in tantalisingly small packets as it was prised open. Even after spotting and completing the quotation, it was far from a doddle to...

A gentle ride. The theme emerged very quickly in this household.

A brisk romp through some neat (but not too taxing) clues and then a mercifully brief grid stare - another entry-level Listener, but a very pleasant one. Thanks Paddock - plenty of time now for the...

Striving definitely described what it took to solve this, and probably even more the amount of effort it must have taken Twin to construct it. While I was aware of the thematic subject, it was not by...

An enjoyable workout, albeit that we spotted the thematic words virtually from the off. Back to finish off 4574, having been away most of the week.
