old insurance policy found

mother in law has found an old penny policy taken out on her in 1946 ,at that time worth £15 and5 shillings, dont know if the company still exists ,and even if it would be worth anything now....

computer takes an age to come on

when rebooting my computer, one component may have been deleted ,needing it to be manualy started up everytime i use it, and it takes ages. any ideas on how to fix this problem, thanks
