Poached Eggs

I cannot get perfect poached eggs.I have tried using poachers. I've placed the eggs in boiling water in a saucepan but the white always separates. Someone said I should vinegar to the boiling water....

Had a flat tyre yesterday GRR! AA man changed it for me and said it had a nail in it and advised me to get it repaired rather than buy new as car is new and I've only done 2000 miles on the tyre....
