xbox games on xbox 360

Can anyone tell me if old xbox games will play on the new 360 unit. If not, is it a software or hardware issue? I guess if it's software then maybe there'll be a patch to allow it in the future. None...

Top Gear - Nurburgring Transit Van

My Sky+ box messed up the recording of the episode of Top Gear in which the lovely Sabine took a Transit Van around the Nurburgring. Did she achieve the 10 minute target?
