Toilet Flush

I've had a new toilet flush button installed and it has "short" and "long" flush buttons but when I try to push the short one the long one goes down as well.  Has it not been fitted... ...

Toilet Cistern Not Filling Up After Flushing

My toilet cistern fills up a bit after flushing but then continues to make "filling up" noises about every 10 minutes.  Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Annoying Gear Instructions!

My Ford Ka insists on showing me which gear to be in, such as change up to 5th as I'm about to slow down for a bend - duh! As I've been driving for 55 years, I resent this! Can it be disabled?
