how do I get my printer to print only the page I am looking at instead of printing,say,nine pages of information about a subject ?

Ethel, I am expecting the printer to print the screen i am looking at however when i press alt and PrtScn there is nothing happening and I'm sat here like a 64 year old dummy!!

i have installed hpd1360 printer to my windows 98 second edition computer although printing ok it cuts off the right hand side of the computer screen how do i make it the whole screen thanks
