help just spilt coke on new laptop

It only went on bottem half where the finger pad is ,i hhave put hair dryer on it and now i can move curser,b4 it was jumpin all over but i cant tap it to select stuff i have to press the buttond...

Is ther anyway to shrink a 6 GB film to fit a standard 4.7 GB, And still be able to use it on a ordianary dvd please ?

Transfering from one laptop to another

Can you buy a double ended USB or some thing to be able to transfer my songs and vids to my new laptop.I know you can buy memory sticks for this but can you do it any other way? cheers.
