Why Won't My Laptop Connect Wirelessly Automatically?

When its home its fine, it does what it should and connects automatically to the home router, but when I take it to work it won't do that (says 'limited connectivity') unless I restart the router....

Why is the colour default on every new laptop/pc milky mauve?

Why don't we get the neutral grey that it should be?? OK when you can change it, but on my latest one doesn't give me that optionin the nvidia control panel.
