Whats wrong with my 1997 Vectra

I have a 1.6 16 V Vectra LS (1997) and when i get to around 2700 revs it starts jerking and a few pops and cracks but it stops at 3200 revs can anyone tell me what this is please. Thanks

Fitting a smaller engine

I am thinking a buying a 4x4 vauxhall frontera but the engine thats been fitted in it is smaller than the standard. It was a 2.2 but its a 2.0 omega engine thats been fitted. Is this going to cause...
