Coloured Loo roll paper

For reasons I cannot fathom Mrs McM puts different coloured loo rolls by each toilet. I find the blue paper quite disconcerting, but I'm not sure why. Do any CBers have similar issues?

I bought a large bag of ericaceous compost for an acid loving plant but I no longer have it, can I use up the compost on my other potted plants and for general use on the garden?

Can a garage tell you that your car has failed an MOT but still let you take it away?

as above and in this thread: http://www.theanswerb.../Question1115397.html the Mot is not due until Monday but they told me on the phone that a fuel system component was leaking and that was an MOT...
