buffering problems

I have recently downloaded PCShowBuzz and whatever channel I watch it stops every few minutes for buffering. I have Windows XP and Pentium 4 also 1mp Broadband. Any idea how to speed it up?

laptop heating up underneath

Is this ok? Will this eventually ruin the laptop? I know they get hot, but should I be doing anything to cool it down? I use it on a lap tray so it gets tiny bit of air circulation but the rubber pads...

Task manager widow will not close

All other windows have an X in the top RHC or i can right click and select close, recently however i cannot do either with the TM window? Why might this be and how can i get rid of it when i next...
