I've been trying to work out what equipment a car must have to be street legal. So far I've got speedometer, audible warning, mirror (but not sure of location), wheel arches or mudguards, seat belts...

what manufacturers do a car with cvt and how closely are they related to the original DAFs ? I think that the DAF was vacuum operated. Are modern ones still like that or have electronics taken over?
