.avi codec identity utility.

Is there a utility that will detect the codec used on an .avi file? I read you can open the file using WordPad and it tells you the second or third line down but opening a 700 MB file this way upsets...

'My shared folder' on Kaaza

I can't delete or move a file from 'My shared folder' on Kaaza.It says 'it is being used by another person or program' even though I try before I connect to the internet.Any ideas?
