Recently the goldfish in my pond have started chasing and pushing each other around the pond. They did not do this before and seemed to live together amicably. Is this a mating ritual?

Purple Hazel bush,Corylus purpurea?

My bush is sprouting grteen coloured leaves and branches. Will they change back to purple or do they need cutting off? Thanks, pam.
