Dried Meal Worm

Have been out today to Wilko's and bought some dried meal worm. Will the Robins gobble it up, and thoroughly enjoy it, or would fresh meal worm have been better for them?...

I always wash mushrooms before I cut them up, and dab them dry. A couple of people I know say that they never wash them! Do you wash them before cooking?...
