driving licence expiry date..only 8 years!!

i have just noticed that my driving licence states that it is only valid for 8 years what happens then? i thought your licence was valid indefinitely...or is it just i have to get a new photocard?...

Bread/Toast/Sandwiches are better when cut diagonally.

Agree or not? Just made some toast, one slice I cut across, the other diagonally. Both exactly the same apart from that but I found the diagonal cut one more appealing and tastier....

Can anyone recommend shoes that don't rub?

Second time lucky. I wrote my question and it disappeared. Can anyone recommend a brand of shoes that they can honestly say doesn't and never did rub on the back of their heel? I'm onto my fourth...

Saw Mercia this afternoon, she was being helped out of the car and down the path by her husband and nephew.

I waved, she smiled and nodded but she looks dreadful, tired, drawn and a bag of bones, she must be about 7 stone wringing wet. I had to go out but I shall go see her Saturday morning.
