Curious Beads on the Christmas tree

I had these strings of small gold and red beads on the Christmas tree. I think they were decorations, but I'm not totally confident that they weren't something else. I'm not sure where they came from....

Cat Feeding

Just noticed the feeding advice on the side of the cat food box and it says they should have 3 or 4 packets a day. I feed my cat wet food in the morning and evening and he has a bowl of dry food down...
