Chilli, bolognese etc always tastes better the earlier it is cooked

Dont know about you, but whenever I am going to have something like chilli, or spaghetti bolognese, I always make it in the morning, then slowly re heat it that evening and let it simmer for a while....

How do I get son to swallow tablets??

He just retches then spits them out! Have tried breaking them in half, putting them in food, llghim to gulp loads of water quickly but he still cannot swallow them. And its getting a bit silly giving...
