Can you catch shingles off someone else ?, because both shingles & chickenpox have 'blisters' & I know you're still infectious until your chickenpox blisters have all dried up

I've recently bought a hand held steam cleaner but the instructions advise not to use an extension lead with it, but that's the only way I can use it in in the bathroom because the flex on the steamer...
