Good Morning Early Birds

Very early Wednesday....can't get back to sleep...the fly by pterydactyles are up...crows actually but what a din...looks dry and still out there but still dark...up to do mum and dad's garden...

First Osprey Egg

Rutland has its first Osprey egg of the year. Laid this evening at the Manton Bay nest of male 5R and his regular (unringed) partner. Webcam off at the moment but there are recorded movies in the news...

Osprey Season Starts

The first ospreys have arrived at Rutland Water. 03(97) male arrived on Sunday in the snow and 00(09), his daughter arrived today. Last year she was also seen at the Dyfi Osprey project in Wales...
