Ice on pond

Hi there. First wintrer in new garden with fish pond, past couple of days water has frozen over and we break the ice each morning. Should we put a ball or something in the pond to stop it completely...

Exmouth Convalescent Home

Is there anyone here who spent time as a child at a convalescent home in Exmouth, 1940s/1950s? I cannot name the home but wonder if you have memories.
