Will a newborn kitten die if I touch it alot?

Hello,  I have always been told you can never pick up and newborn kitten to long. Is this true and why? My cat just had for kittens Sunday and I don't want to pick them up if I can't.

cat vacinations

We have a new kitty whose only had his first set of shots.  I'd like to do the vacinations myself, but am unsure what he needs & when.  Any idea where I can get the info?
