We've got an update which counts the number of characters typed into a post. This should stop some of the "my post was cut off" frustration.

It requires a bit of downtime - 1 Hour to be exact.

We'll be "going down" at 3.45pm and will resurface at 4.45pm.

Now that AB has been further updated with an Abacus being incorporated into the system, perhaps someone can tell me how many characters can I type.

Looks as if Editorial spotted 'mis-types' and has deleted one or more 'characters' from AB.

Word has an 'Insert Special Character' function; maybe AB now has a feature for removing special characters, Ron. We'd both better keep our heads down.
