POLL ON SHARING OF DM.REWARDS CLUB NUMBERS
72 Answers
I would be interested to know why you are carrying out a poll on the above,as I am one of the VERY FEW that use it?Will you next have a poll on whether or not to give the answers to crossword puzzles,in which the winner could win £1-2,000?,Or maybe even vote on whether or not ABers should be allowed to download recipes from the site? The list is endless.

I have just spoken to the Daily Mail & they have assured me that the T & C's are NOT violated by the asking for, or the provision of, a number.
As long as ONE paper is purchased, that ONE number can be used by anybody, with the purchaser's permission.
Duncer - ...but why should we provide numbers to people who don't buy the paper, or seem not to?

The poll is to establish whether AB will countenance your fraud (as defined by the Daily Mail Rewards Club T&Cs).
---------
"Fraud" includes any fraud, dishonesty or deceit and includes... obtaining Mail Points other than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
A User must purchase a copy of the Publication to be eligible to register a Unique Number.
Accounts will terminate automatically if we reasonably believe that you have committed an act of Fraud against us or any Partner.

I cannot find any T&Cs forbidding the sharing of information in regard of Prize Crosswords or Recipes.

Ron. One would imagine that the OP saw that there was indeed a poll before he wrote his post. If only he had read the poll thread he would have seen the answer to his question: ///why you are carrying out a poll///
When the Editor was asked what the outcome of the poll would be, he replied:
AB Editor
Question Author
Whether we remove postings for/sharing mail rewards club numbers OR whether we cater for it.

If asking for a reward card number is going against the rules of the DM contest because they want you to buy a paper, ABers shouldn't be doing it. Nobody says you have to buy a paper to do a crossword or read a recipe, you can get those from the on-line version of the paper (as you can with the Rewards club numbers).
NOX - I have no objection to helping out every now and then, but why should we provide numbers to people who don't buy the paper, or seem not to? One poster has posted ten times, ALL to ask for numbers.
I'm more than happy to help with croswords as the questions come from people who have bought the paper in question.
