I've looked to see if this has already been discussed but can't see it so here goes. I noticed I had acquired a 2nd badge this morning but when I clicked to try and find out what for I couldn't find the answer that triggered the award. Then I got a long long list of ebayers names who also seem to have been awarded at the same time as me. Here is one example of many.http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/members/g

This poster han't posted since December 2000! - and there's lots more.

a list of ebayers names?

We're reprocessing the database again with the updated version of the code. It takes some time but we should see some fixes.
I see what you mean- if you click on the thread you got the Quick Draw badge for you get this list:

Oh, that's so you can see whose company you're keeping :)

OK Ed thanks. Probably haven't got a 2nd badge then:-(
You have two badges: debater and quick-draw: http://www.theanswerb...rs/ladybirder/badges/

You can click on either to see who else has them :)
I've got a second badge....yay.

Still surprised I haven't got a chatterboxer..
apparently I acquired two badges around 1730 last night, but presumably that's the time the robots awarded them rather than the time I actually did anything.
as for poor god... he has a Quick Draw badge for a "best answer which was also a first answer". Yet he only gave two answers, one of which was deleted; the other was a first and only answer but was not marked as best answer.

Truly his ways are mysterious.
I am having difficulty in trying to establish from where I have qualified to hold a gun badge.

Perhaps, it's because in the columns of AB I keep 'shooting myself in the foot' :-)

Me too Ron. Totally nonplussed I am.

jno, god is one of many whose badge doesn't make sense. I looked at another one where the poster had only ever posted one answer in 2001, 4 DAYS, after the question was posed, and got a Quick Draw badge. OK, he was the first to answer, but 4 DAYS after the question appeared and didn't get best answer.
I am still trying to find out what I got the 2nd one for; I suspect it's a mistake.
Question Author
I should clarify that I am trying to find out which post I got the 2nd badge for. Don't think I deserved one - although I have posted since 2001;-0
Well this thread would qualify your for the quick draw badge.

Astonished to see my badge tally has increased too!!
I will award you points Triggs ♥
At the risk once again of my gun backfiring, it is my opinion that the the system for Badges should have commenced from the very first day it was introduced; without any reference to past events and statistics.

It gets curiouser and curiouser
