Probs with AB

Hi Ed I am having a lot of trouble when typing stuff to submit to AB as this is now getting really aggravating is there anything that you can possibly do to correct this ?

I have tried Chrome, Firefox & IE & the problem persists with them all but ONLY when using AB. What I have t dnow is te noal thncorect veything befor clicking Subit ('' What I have to do now is type normaly then correct everything before clicking Submit '')

Strange....I haven't come across the problem. Perhaps it has something to do with all the adverts causing a slowing down of your browser which is being overloaded in some way or other.

Dotty, I have just noticed this is happening to me too, but not everywhere.
I sometimes have the same probem as whiskeryron, but not at the moment.

dotty, this seems to be happening a lot today. It's on the first page of DT's Sandi Toksvig thread, for example.

the words are disappearing off the page on the sandy toksvig thread. Also when I'm on AB the page is constantly trying to load itself (little blue circle going manic round and round on the tab) I'm using Chrome with Windows 7

Just to be awkward, I'm using Firefox with the ads enabled & have no disappearing words...

L-i-K... I think the issue is mainly with Internet Explorer.

So as I have the problem with Chrome,Firefox & IE, which can be suggested I use in order to use AB as it should be used ( without probs) ??

Check you haven't got too many 'add-on'. Use Adblock to stop any problems which may be as a result of ads overloading your browser. Stay away from Internet Explorer at all times.

Possibly all rubbish advice from me....but that would be my approach if I had the problem.

I've had trouble with typing - missing letters etc - for the last few days. I assumed it was the crumbs in my keyboard.

vivandorron, thanks Ron. I have now re-downloaded Google Chrome to be my default browser again & installed adblock as you suggested. So far all seems to be ok so here's hoping it has cured my problem.
