I fully understand that it's the Ed's site and them's the site rules...
..just for clarity though, are there a generally agreed set of standards between various Eds and Mods about what is an acceptable posting and what isn't, and are they - more or less - evenhandedly applied?

The site has changed and changed again and again... as it will keep on doing.
I'm not bothered who the mods are, although some have made themselves known which is their prerogative. I don't see the benefit in knowing, posters should abide by the Site Rules whether or not there is a mod around and the Ed will be able to see who zaps what and I'm sure they keep an eye.
The site is definitely much better moderated than it has been in the past.
