Twice today my posts have been edited. Is this a new policy? If so, I think it should be re-examined. I for one am not happy for other people to change what I've written. That simply isn't right.

retrocop - // As usual you jump in and fail to get the gist of what I am saying. Never mind. Do I have to explain again? //
If by your badly worded sideswipe, you infer that only Moderators would discuss something on the site, then how would they know - because no-one with the exception of the Editorial Team, including the Moderators themselves, know who they are, so how are they to know with whom they are exchanging ideas?

I suppose it depends upon whether you believe that each of your posts deserves to be etched into posterity for the education of future generations.....

Jeeez. What I said,in reply to the post by TCL, was how can we second guess what anyone's ultimate interpretation of Site Rules is at the time of typing.
If the rules are not written in black and white and clearly stated then ordinary ABers will not bother to post because a mod or member of the editorial team may arbitrarily decide that it is ultimately against Site Rules on that day. It is akin to stating Black is not White unless it is Thursday and Sunny but the latter part is unknown to an ABer.
What I was suggesting is all you will have left is the mods playing with themselves because AB ers can't be bothered to post lest they see them removed because they are unaware what the ultimate interpretation of Site Rules are. There are Site Rules written down. I have seen answers removed that are 'supposed' to contravene Site Rules. When the Site Rules that are written down are consulted they, sometimes, bear no rhyme nor reason as to why the answer is removed
I can write what I think but I can't make you understand what I write
