We did in fact buy a chocolate chicken on a chocolate nest with cohoclate eggs from Lidl, but hija and I chomped through that a couple of weeks ago, we do now have two rather large eggs which we will no doubt polish off shortly. Mind you hija is out so who knows when she'll be back. We are having the traditional Easter Paella for lunch.
oh, chocolate paella full of chocolate prawns, sounds very traditional.

That doesn't sound too bad actually jno, apart from the dark chocolate, of which I am not a big fan.
Morning all from dreary drizzly Norfolk
What a let down for Easter after all the lovely weather we've had .
Hope you're all as well as and not suffering from choccie overload .I've got a bag of mini eggs and that's it .Can't eat too much chocolate :(
We're having a half leg of lamb today ..yippee ..half price in Morrisons They limited them to two per person yesterday but Mr S went twice and got four :)
Question Author
Well done Mr S bet he'll enjoying eating those! We had a leg of lamb in the week, we get huge ones for 9€ from a supplier (N:Z of course), last 3 days for three of us, then I am fed up with it! I put it in a roasting bag from lakeland, seems to cook quicker.
Morning all, happy chocfest. I've got guylians, a box of fudge and a box of cadbury's cakes, easter eggs are a rip off....
Went shopping with my sister yesterday & stood pondering the tete-a-tetes in B&M but I decided to think about it. I wouldn't be sitting outside today, it's cold, dark & it hammered down earlier.

I've never been to a safari park but it's ok, I've got a onsie just in case I ever do...

four half-legs of lamb.... you're well on the way to reconstructing a whole sheep there.

Very gratifying day yesterday. I got a renewal notice from the AA (not the alcoholics one) that I thought was too high, so I went looking for last year's payment. Couldn't find it, so spent hours turning everything upside down, and ended up junking a cubic acre of credit card bills, John Lewis statements etc going back to 1981. How on earth did we have so many credit cards? I don't remember most of them. Anyway, there is now room to park a small car in the filing cabinet.

And then I found the bill I wanted, rang up the AA and badgered them into knocking £90 off this year's premium. So a day well spent.
good morning all, tis grey and wet here and - what a shock - the dogs are asleep. Got to say i DO NOT fancy chocolate paella one bit.
I have got the RAC and I buy it with tesco points..it costs less than half what it would if I bought it with cash.
I saw a recipe for hollandaise on James Martin yesterday which looked nice so i might try it later with jerseys and asparagus and cold turkey. Might chocolate dip some strawberries too. Not all of them of course, the dogs would never forgive me.
It's brightened up here now although the wind is still chilly .That'll please the grockles .It was jammed along here earlier with cars nose to tail .
My tete a tete is till covered up ,too cold to sit out there yet .

Just watched The girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Mr N enjoyed the book so suggested I read it, but found it heavy going so watched the flm, quite good.
I found the books dull, duller, dullest....
It's a trilogy that I wasted hours of my life on and was none the wiser at the end of it all .Haven't seen the film though .
Question Author
Oh thank Heavens for that, I found it a struggle to get into it, so thought if I saw the film it would be over quicker!! There were so many Vangers in the family I didn't know who was who or which was which!
Question Author
