All thin and yellowy, poor thing!!
Neti, you're cruisin' for a bruisin' ..lol.
I hope she's Ok .
It's glorious here .I've just come in from the garden where I've sat and read my book for a couple of hours until next doors child decided to start jumping up and down screaming on the trampoline .
Question Author
I've been sunbathing and swimmin', after blowing up a big swim ring, I like to loll in one when being lazy. I had to blow the damned thing up in stages, took all my puff, and Mr N wasn't here to help.

Cat is taking the mickey now, sits and uses her fresh dirt box then goes outside!! I can't afford to keep changing the litter @ 1€ a bag! It's a bit like when one's child is using the potty instead of nappies, oh I am proud!
Question Author
Come on Robi, we are worried about you, I will stand still for my thwacking if it helps!!

Just heard that my old boss from London days late 60'searly 70's has died, he made telescopes and there are some lovely messages from all over the world on the internet. He was very bohemian and we got on so well, was planning on staying at his house in Borehamwood this summer but sadly not to be. Through him I knew Patrick Moore, Peter Quaife (Kinks) and so many more, happy days apart from the monster I lived with!
neti, can you get the clumpy kind of cat litter?, you just sieve out the clumps and top up the tray...much cheaper than continually changing it.
Sorry to hear about your boss.
Question Author
Not sure woofy, this is like small gravel.

My young friend has had all the abcess removed but now has a metal plate in her head, she is feeling very sore and very emotional, gosh all this cos she ignored an earache!! Thanks for your prayers woofy, I do believe they help!

What a clever man Neti .He looks as if he was great fun to work with. That's sad for you .
I hope your friend soon feels better .I have a relative who has a metal plate in his head .He was knocked down by a bus .He's not strictly my relative but my fellow bridesmaid (Sil's sisters )son, but he's part of the family :)

good morning all. Now Robi reveal yourself!!

It is raining here, feels quite wintry, but alas I know it won't last.

Mousey is peeing up a storm in her dirt box, I am wondering if I can wash the grit and reuse it, there's no poo there?

Hope jno is having a lovely time.
don't think so Neti Do you know anyone else who has a cat? They might be able to tell you the spanish for clumping cat litter.
Question Author
I can ask Maria in the pet shop, but guess I'll just get another sack of grit!
Question Author
Still wet and overcast, not that I mind. We are off to San An on the other side of the island for lunch if they will pick up the phone and take my reservation!!
I know Neti, ask Sqad, he's got cats!

Still no Robi, :(

I have just hauled a chest of drawers upstair on a rope.........because I can!
Hello all
Another lovely day .Hope it's nice for you all too .
Yes come in Robinia ,hope you're alright .
Neti ,I'm sure I've read somewhere that shredded newspaper can be used as cat litter ,not that I'm any expert on cats though :)
You're a gal Woofy ..mind you don't put your back out !
DING! DING BLOODY DING DING!!

Afternoon all, here I is...diseased?! Disgruntled is what I am. I've had no internet for a couple of days but I appear go be back, how long for I've no idea. After calling planet BT the conclusion was it's my hub and she said she'd send a new one...wouldn't you just know it, 10 mins afterwards I decided to have one last try switching off & on and the damned thing came to life!! Maybe it's best not to cancel the new hub don't you think, this one might be dodgy and there's no charge? Oooh, I hate technology, I can deal with most of life's crip but not that, I go into complete meltdown.

Apart from one or two other annoyances at least the weather's been glorious. Hope you're all well.

Stand by for a good thwacking neti....I'm really happy for your friend, hope she recovers well.
delighted you are back Robi, yes don't cancel the new hub, they don't last forever and mine started to overheat and cut out before it died all together.
Question Author
♫...i'm still standing yeah yeah yeah!!..[i]♫

Way hay Robi, when I first typed diseased it came out deceased and I had to rewrite it!!!

Still damp and chilly here, we went to the restaurant in San An and no wonder they didnot answer the phone, it's up for sale, and we were only there a couple of weeks ago!! Found another place, very spanish and very cheap, I had mixed grill of meat and Mr, N had mixed grill of fish, both very nice but I brought lots of mine home, and it was eat all you can so could have had more!! Wine , bread and alioli, and a huge tuna salad plus bottle of Cresta Rosa, which always knocks me sideways, so am back in bed keeping warm.
Question Author
shaney, newspaper here cost £5 a time so cat litter is better!

Well done woofy for pulling the chest of drawers up but even I think that is slightly overdoing it.

On way back from San An we stopped at local well to refill 10 x 8 litre bottles of water for 1€.
Glad you're alright Robinia.Bit of a hubbub for you ,pardon the pun :)
Blimey Neti ..that's a bit dear for papers ,what about sand .You must have plenty of that for free !
