My wife came in from the garden slamming the door and yelling that next door's dog had been in our garden and left dog poo all over the place AGAIN!
I told her to calm down, get the shovel and throw it into next door's garden.
She came back in to the house a few minutes later and said "I've done it. But what good will it do? Now, next door has our shovel and there's still dog poo all over the garden!"
