Whats wrong with my dog?

Hi
I have a Parson Jack Russell, he is 8 this year. Over the past few weeks he has lost alot of weight. His diet hasn't changed and he's not getting any more exercise than usual, he also has a really good appitite and seems fine in himself. Anyone know what could be the problem?

Hi madness, just a guess here, is his worming treatment up to date ? Might account for weight loss if there is a worm infestation .

he was wormed not so long ago but maybe its time to be re done. thanks for your help

It could be any number of things, no one can possibly diagnose the problem over the internet. You need to take him to the vets.

Does sound like worms, but JRT's are also prone to allergies, so do take him to the vets ..........good luck

sorry for the late reply guys. No he's not drinking any more than usual. He seems to be putting some weight back on now. thankyou all for your help.
