please can anyone tell me if there are any birds 'nesting' at this time

I am truly terrified of our feathered friends, we had a nest directly above our front door in the roof, I knew baby birds must have been in there as there was a constant flying in and out of the" Mummy" bird, lots of mess each day to clean away but it had to be done, they flew the nest about June? but now the poo is down my wall again and down the front door too, I just was curious if there was a nesting time now, I am scared of them but I would never harm them

Don't feel bad about your fear of birds bobbisox. It is real and everyone has a phobia of some type. My sister has Pteronophobia which is a totally irrational fear of feathers.

I am ashamed to say that as a boy I got a lot more than one hiding after getting caught of taking advantage of her fear.

wildwood, we were in the Lakes a few years ago, they sold corn or birdfeed, I think it was on Windermere? the friends that we were with, she bought a bag, each to their own , I thought....
but she then threw a handful of the stuff at my feet!!!!
Needless to say we are no longer pals (over something different) but how stupid was she for doing this to someone who is terrified of birds?

Just remembered I am terrified of gollyw0gs too. Apparently was frightened by a boy in a mask when I was in my pram!!

Bobbi, I now understand why you have a phobia about birds. That would have freaked me out completely.
