Shrieking pet birds in neighbors garden

This morning i was woken up at the crack of dawn by a weird screaming sound and on further investigation i noticed that the neighbor had a flock of roughly 7 peacocks strutting around her garden making a loud noise which maybe okay in a kenyan safari park but is totally out of character for a detached house in watford. My cat was nearly attacked in her garden by the gang of birds and has now came in an is refusing to leave the couch.
This afternoon she was seen walking down the street with leads around their necks and everyone had top cross over the other side as people were obviously scared at her menagerie of shrieking birds and what's more is that the birds fouled the pavement on several occasions and she didn't clear the mess up even though she walked back on the same side passing her birds mess.
I never even knew peacocks were allowed as pets so is this legal, do these birds carry any diseases that we the public should be worried about and if this noise continues in the mornings or indeed night or if my cat is attacked who should i call?

LOL!

Oh thankyou for making me laugh. Honestly, you've brightened up my day.

Now.... back to the goats.
pygmy goats are cute ..... I'd want some of those...but I wouldn't mind a pair of white peacocks they are so beautiful
We really should have a "like" button on here.

I was told to stay clear of the chatterbank section as there were a lot of comedians and weirdos there but all the other sections were comedy, weirdo free.
My sister was obviously wrong.
you got it the wrong way round, chatterbank is full of the sane boring ones

a lot of us are fairly sensible...we pointed you in a couple of logical directions...once answered ...well its been quiet on here lately..... unlike your neighbours garden... mostly we will help where we can....honest....ignore trim he's been away...they only let him out so long as he keeps taking his little yellow pills
Where in the UK are you based, Jan1ne?

I'm gonna have a look online, see if we can fix you up with some goats.

You may be pushed for fourteen... even seven... but I'll do my best.

I think this is your only option...

Thank you to all the genuine users and for your input and to all those that think a serious subject is there to be tweaked and joked about, i really hope that one day that to be able to have internet use that you'd have to go for a test and get a license to get online first, my guess is that many here would fail miserably.
Good day to you all!
What kind of test?
mini pigs anyone...the smell might shut the peacocks up....
How very dare you...;-)

SLAM!
OK, so some of the comedy weirdos have migrated into Animals and Nature. Clearly there is not a flock of peafowl to scare them off.

Your cat sitting on the couch = quite normal. This is what cats do.
Your cat refusing to leave said couch = still quite normal. This is what they do (I have 4, I KNOW this).
People scared of shrieking birds = not in the town centre on a Saturday night they are not. Ok, I'll be serious, the birds were on leads - how much damage can they really do?
The birds pooed everywhere = birds do that
If this noise continues in the mornings or indeed night = the noise should not start til daylight and should end at dusk. Peafowl are "roosters" and go to bed when the light gets low. As the days get shorter so will the noise.

The other stuff I've answered. But thanks for the laugh.

I've been meaning to clean the lappy - although not necessarily with lemon squash.
Wait........come back!!

You can't flounce until you've completed the paperwork.......!
I didn't read all of the thread, was it as entertaining as it is seems from the first couple of answers.
does a first post flounce count?
Did she fill in the appropriate paperwork
In the event this was actuallu was a serious question, then contact your local authorities and see where you stand. Put in a noise complaint at the same time. Also ask at the Citizen's Advice and your local ombudsman.
Lol. I wanna know about this test. I need to prepare...
