I've posted about this problem before and tried all of the helpful advice given, but alas nothing has worked and next door's bloody vermin is still crapping on my gravel drive.
I know its petty, but I've taken to delivering the crap back to the cat owner's drive (which is also gravel) which, as you can imagine, is causing an issue. I couldn't really give a monkey's but Mrs Flop would rather live harmoniously with the old woman next door, despite her being a sour faced old harridan who is disliked by pretty much everybody else.
I'm rambling - does anybody have any other ideas please? I've tried the lion poo, special plants which are supposed to repel them, electronic gadgets all to no avail.
I'd kick the little vermin bastard, but I understand this is frowned upon - and I can't let my dog out because he is such a big pansy the cat will bully him.
Thanks - just sick of clearing up animal crap that hasn't come out of my animal.
flip flop, if you ever find a good remedy, we'd all like to know.
We've tried most things and nothing ever works.
We keep chasing next doors 3 cats out and they always sneak back in !!!
Cats are free spirits and like to roam free. I always had a cat flap so mine could come and go as they pleased day and night. Would love another cat - maybe when I retire "properly" lol.
I think that this is a male territorial problem - very few women seem to get angry or really upset about feline invasions. This is not, in any way, a criticism - just they way humans are.
My two have just woken up and are now demanding fooood
I am lucky to share my outside space, with lots of wildlife - Foxes, Ducks, Geese and lots more, any calling cards are a small price to pay for the pleasure gained. Though Goose droppings are very slippery underfoot, as I have learnt to my cost in the past.
Try :1) rosemaries- they don't like the smell
2)wire - mesh fencing - they have difficulty climbing it
3) Staffordshire Bull Terriers (....definitely not pansies......)
FGT, If I had wanted to injure one of my unwanted visitors ( If we eat outside someone has to guard the food) I would have used an airgun that shoots lead pellets, as it is it is a BB gun rated at 0.6 joules that shoots plastic balls doesn't do any harm as the cats are back within the hour. It does make them very wary, when they hear the gun being cocked they high tail it.
