The Kazahk wolf hunting wth eagles isn't quite what it seems to be, it is the Kazahk version of hare coursing. The wolf had been captured earlier and starved to weaken it, I saw this if not a similar sequence on a TV documentary a few years a go.

ladybirder , my Winston does a very good line in pretending to be dead ! as well as deaf, a dog of very little brain and what little he has is in his nether regions ,my head tells me that they eat carrion but I still get twichy ,hes such a little dog only 5lbs.
