My new puppy is a Lancashire Heeler (I have four others plus the GSD in my avatar). This new one is a granddaughter of one I bred who went to Finland a few years ago. Things are going very well, very easy journey over from Holland with Stena Line, older dogs have accepted her and by this morning its like she was always here. Out at 6 am and did wees and a poo in the garden, then breakfast in the puppy pen so the others can't nick it, and now she's had a play with an empty milk bottle she is having a nap on my feet.
Thanks for the update Lankleela.
Well Colin is a jumper and only to females, I have the most amazing bruise on my ribs from his paws!! so spent yesterday training him not to jump so a bit better today - he is only young and his previous owners appear to have done no training at all.
we had a game of go get it which by the end he was retrieving it for me - but only his monkey nothing else!!
Still we will get there - even hubby has taken to him and he was against getting a dog in the first place!

Love the name, Hope you have lots of fun together
One of ours dogs is called Eddy, which was fine until we got a new neighbour called Eddy, who got the 'right hump' when we called Eddy in, even after we explained it was Edmond (blackadder), he never did calm down.
We've since moved so it matters not, anymore.
