We give them daily grapes, apples, suet balls, meal worms, suet pellets with combined insects in addition to the feeders full of sunflower hearts! They reward us though - with hours of enjoyment watching goldfinches, chaffinches, blackbirds, robins, sparrows and collared doves.

I used to buy fatballs and put bread out for the birds when it was very cold and snowy. I had to stop last year, I had all sorts of visitors squirrels fieldmice robins blackbird and a rat which found it's way underneath the house and was a 'b' to get rid of ending up like a bunch of Bulgarians camping out.
