Morning each, white rabbits....or, in the case of the Raynaud's gang, white fingers.
Dark, grey and wet again so I've zero motivation for anything. Even the ball in my deodorant needed a push to get it moving.

I have a bridge with a new crown on it, only it doesn't fit, it's pushing all my other teeth aside. I'll have to go back on Monday and have it looked at. In the meantime I have a front middle tooth, which looks odd but will be an incentive to keep my mouth shut and stay insideout of the rain.

In case you were wondering the bird was picked up from the beach by the RSPB.
Back to the gloomy weather after the lovely sunshine yesterday.Drizzling and windy out there.
Crikey Jno.I had a crown replaced many moons ago and it pushed the teeth either side and they loosened eventually and had to come out.I've often wished hellfire and damnation on the dentist who did it.

Well it brightened up for a while but not enough to recharge my motivation battery so I did a manicure and as good a pedi as I could manage. I dislike feet, especially mine.

Oh that sounds uncomfortable jno. With so much technology you'd thing they could make teeth that fit.

I've often said I'd cook more if I had a big modern kitchen. In reality I'd just have more room to make a mess. (I went flat on my back in the kitchen a few weeks ago, ouch. I went with such a thud I thought I'd done something serious. Fortunately not and amazingly didn't bang my head on anything)

Yes I was going to make mince pies and sausage rolls for xmas but weve ordered some from a catering company instead. Dont want to dirty the new cooker unnecessarily!!!

It was my turn to be awake at silly o'clock this morning, I'll be good for nowt by this afternoon.
It's funny you should say that shaney, I did blame my slippers, they had a very smooth sole. I say 'had' because as soon as I was over the shock I threw them in the bin.

Started off bright but clouded up now.It's quite mild though.
Haha Neti ,I was like that when we bought the new cooker this year but I'm afraid it needs cleaning now.I did get a mat to put in the bottom to catch any spills so it's really just the inside of the door that needs a scrub.
Yes Robinia ,I've got tinned stuff and other essentials in the spare room.I doubt it'll come to it but it's best to be prepared.

I clean my oven doors with a paste of bicarbonate and wipe off

Not doing anything special I dont think. We were going put for dinner (oysters for me) but dont think I can be bothered to clamber down the mountain in the dark!

Woke up at 5 again and every time I closed my eyes I had crazy images whizzing by at breakbrain speed. I must stop watching Dr Who. I don't know why I do, it's daft, I just watched the first one out of curiosity when Jodie Whittaker took over and it's become a habit.

Congratulations neti. Go mad and wear your French maid outfit and throw some turkey twizzlers and chips in your new oven.

Well the restaurant of choice is closed on Mondays so I'll make a chicken and mushroom pie instead.
Am sitting at a pavement cafe and its wonderfully sunny but not too warm. Very acceptable.

Nice and bright out there after a dull start.
Congratulations Neti.I'll have the oysters if you don't want them.I love oysters but they are very expensive here.
Nothing doing really.My brother called in earlier and they're going to operate on his eye early in January by cutting the lump away and stitching it.So he may be lucky and not have to have his eye removed.

happy anniversary, neti. I think we're a couple of years behind you. Dentist thinks my teeth will survive being pushed out of place but has filed a lot of them down because my bite had been messed up. So I'm biting okay not, buw the gun is still sore because fitting the bridge involved a lot of fisticuffs in my mouth. So I'll just have to see.

The brightness soon disappeared and it sloshed it down until an hour or so ago and it's turned very chilly.
I wanted to get some Christmas cards with Cromer pier on them from the BBC ident but they're all sold out thenI tried to order from the German deli and what we wanted from them is sold out. I'm not having a lot of luck.

Woofy,I've found the Miss Fisher mysteries on Netflix .Very good and I love the clothes she wears.I still have a few of the books yet to read.
My brother could have had the procedure done on the 20th but he put it off because of his Father Christmas gigs.I think he should have had it done sooner rather than later but it's up to him.You can't teach an old dog new tricks .

Morning all....oooh, tis frosty but nice and sunny so it looks more seasonal... I'm hoping the brigtness calms my mood, I felt so wound up and agitated yesterday. When I went Christmas shopping with my sister a couple of weeks ago I accidentally :) bought a padded coat in next, so today might be the day for it's first outing.

That sounds good for your brother shaney, hope it goes well. Someone I know is going for a shoulder joint replacement today and he isn't pleased about limited xmas activities either but I think he wants it over and done with.

Hope your teeth settle down jno. It took ages for me (and my other teeth) to get used to the bridge in my mouth.

Better get moving, the days are so short and I don't function in artificial light.

morning all. cold bright and frosty here for a nice change. Shaney I have seen some of the Miss Fishers on sky....I am in two minds.....love the clothes, hate that they have changed the storyline and created an unresolved romance between Phryne and Jack.....mind you I guess they would have had to tone down all the lovers and the explicitude some how....
