So having got 3 loads of washing dry in the sun when the time came for all the kingsize bedding to be hung out it poured with rain so is now hanging in laundry room
The heat went after the rain and it smelled lovely.
Alas its heating up again .

Nice bright day so far but looks like it's going to go downhill later with heavy rain forecast.Nowhere near as warm as it has been.
Thanks for that Neti .I've made a note .Netflix usually send an email when new stuff arrives as well.I'm still binging The Blacklist.It's brilliant.

hello all. Sis went home yesterday so its all a bit quiet here. We miss her. We didn't get to do too much this time what with the shocking weather, so we watched loads of TV and did a bit more sorting. Filthy weather continues and the dogs are a bit worried so we will be sitting around together for much of today.

gah, I went out to pick some apples and slipped over on the wet paving outside the back door. I am now nursing a twisted ankle and a banged knee (fortunately it wasn't bare). Another nurofen and then I'll go to bed.

My neice has just lost her her prem baby
She was 6 month pregnant and has a huge epileptic fit and they had to deliver the baby who had a huge bleed on the brain. He survived for 2 days. She nearly died and was only conscious for the last few hours of his life. So sad. She has a lot of family support luckily!

we've had several millimetres of rain, but I don't know if that's really a month's supply as promised. At least I haven't slid over any more.

it rained all day yesterday. All the waterbutts are full to overflowing and everything has had a good drenching. Just need the gate to settle aagin so I can use the bolts.

just a little light drizzle here again today. The garden's had all the rain it needs anyway, it only encourages the weeds.

Nothing to report here either.Went up the garden with washing ,retreated swiftly as it pelted down suddenly so hung it all on the airer.Now the sun has come out. Typical.
Stuff is starting to turn here too and something is eating my Photinia.Looks as if September might be nice though according to Accu.

tipping it down again here. I have renovated and installed a chandelier....nothing dangerous, the lights are now battery operated...and am gilding an oval mirror frame...cheapo black plastic moulded frame which I got second hand thus even cheaper. Dogs are hating the weather so i am working in fits and starts.
