Fox Problem

My sister just rang me saying a fox is 'squatting' under her shed.
It is not scared of people at all, in fact it is currently sunbathing on her patio.
Obviously, she's not keen on it being there, she has rang the RSPCA, but they don't want to know.
Does anyone have any advice on how she can get rid of it, or where to go for help, please.

I`ve had loads of problems with foxes - I had issues with one digging a den under the fence the other day. I`ve blocked the hole and layed slabs along there so now he protests by cr@pping on a different slab every night. He was trotting around the patio inspecting my chilli and tomato plants last night. The only thing I can think of to try (and I`m going to do this tonight) is sprinkling some Jeyes fluid around the area where they like to hang out (they hate the smell).
Can't help really, but I personally would be over the moon to find a fox in my garden!

Scrivens, that's a horrible thing to say, even as a joke, shame on you!

What does the fox say?

There are inexpensive fox traps on ebay. Once caught it could be relocated elsewhere.
At one time I'd have introduced him to either Mr 12 bore or his little brother .410 depending on the circumstances, nowadays I'm much more tolerant and I'm more then happy live and let live providing he's not doing any harm.

Boo, it's digging up her flower beds, and digging in her pots. She found an egg in a pot the other day.
I love all wildlife myself, but she is scared of most animals. Always has been.
Perhaps someone will have more advice.
237SJ, thank you, I'll pass that on to her re Jeyes Fluid.
she found a fox-egg ?
no wonder you're posting on this !
I have a fox who visits my garden most nights. I don't bother him and he doesn't bother me. Live and let live.
Yes, I have foxes nearby along with lots of other wildlife - it's a mini nature reserve really.

I gave up planting outside as things got spoilt but there is plenty natural foliage and plant life to enjoy.

Mr Fox does venture onto my balcony now and then but scarpers when I need my chair back.
On a Chicken Keeping forum male wee is recommended as a fox deterrent
We have a terrier who doesn't hold with foxes, though he is careful not to catch them when he chases (just like cats). Could you borrow a dog for a while-just enough to establish its scent marking in the garden?
