Can a fox clear a 5' fence from a running take off 18" from in front of the fence?

I am trying to work out if I just spotted a fox or a moggie out the corner of my eye.

Probably, with a bit of a scramble rather than a pure clearance.

It looked like a clean leap.

I want to let the hens out, they can easily see off a moggie but I'd rather not mess around if there is a fox about.
My local foxes can easily get over the 5' walls. It doesn't seem to be any bother to them at all.
it might of been the lesser spotted jumping fox. Not a native species but brought over by the canadians in 2012, they tried to sneak them into the olympics but they kept biting officials & ran away, last seen heading towards your area
notify Farage at once, fluff.

Our fences are nearer 6ft and we get foxes over them all the time. They're very lithe.

They can clear 6' ones here with a brace of Dobies behind them!
farage is on it and all over it. he is OUTRAGED, i tell you OUTRAGED, damn pesky canadians

Farage is Fox Hunting?
I am not sure a cat could do a clean leap under those circs.

We'll as it is now peeing down the girls can stay in their run.

Not sure if it was a Lesser Spotted Candian Jumping Fox or not. I only caught sight of its tail so didn't have time to check its rump for a Maple Leaf tattoo.
My cat can clear 5'+
Most likely that ginger tom from down the road.
He's been seen sneaking round your abode.
