- - you could get the perfect picture. Driving along a road and noticed a section of a field turned into a beautiful wildflower meadow, lovely in itself but then standing in front of the flowers was a gorgeous deer, it was the sort of picture I would have on my wall, shame such moments are so rare nowadays.
A magical moment indeed, Horselady......... life has made those moments rare.....but perhaps more precious....
I'm enjoying the antics of a large spider in its web in the garden....I check on it every morning and it's cheering......luckily it has survived the winds..... :-)
Gness has jut made me realise my house is surrounded by wild life even in the big city. It's just that I hadn't consider spiders to be wildlife before. Also wild ants, ferocious slugs and the notoriously savage robins.
I saw a deer on my walk this morning, but it scarped before I could get a snap.
Not sure it is the right time of year for wildflower meadows, I saw lots of those earlier in the year.
perhaps buy the countryfile calender, it has one spectacular shot of four deer completely white from the snow, it was my pick of the lot of winners. I think they used it for the calender.
