Like 2 years ago I worked at someone’s house doing yard maintenance. When I first started, the person who worked there previously showed me around and showed me what to do. They said to just dumb my yard clippings over a hill out back which I did because I didn’t see the harm in it. Well I found out doing that can cause invasive weeds to grow and it can also spread invasive insects that can destroy grape farms and other farms. At least I’m pretty sure. Also, I was at my neighbors house doing some work and I noticed he dumped a little bit of yard debres over a hill at his house too. Would I be a bad person if I did nothing about this stuff? I dont even know what to do.
You would be better, just composting the clippings and recycling them in the yard, to enrich the soil. It should take about a year to break down thoroughly.
