morning, Friday already, the end of the working week for some. I hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have any plans for today?

I have a GP telephone consult this morning to discuss my rather high blood pressure, then a quiet afternoon.

Today's forecast for the capital is a lowly 12c with sunny skies, makes a change from the rain.

Mr Em said more than 20 years ago that our winters in the UK will be wetter and not as cold. He wasn't wrong.

Em, I reckon the "industrial age" that bought us all a lot of comfort and made lots of people rich is now taking its toll.
I'm not a Greta fan but things do need to change, the quicker the better.

Morning all. I'm so glad it's Friday. We're going to a bonfire / fireworks display tomorrow night and in-laws are coming with us.

I'm hoping to get a fair bit done around the house this coming weekend too, such as finding a permanent home for stuff that's emerged from the attic following a nearly 4-year hiatus.
