I don't watch Spring Watch. Who were the culprits this time? Farmers, game bird keepers, egg hunters?

I'm not shocked by your post, raptors have always been persecuted, sometimes to extinction.

That's why I can't watch Spring Watch anymore, upsets me so much. Same with any of DA's programmes. Used to be my favourites. Perhaps I've got too soft in my old age but I don't think so.

bednobs have a read of this while you're waiting for barry to answer. I remember when Red Kites were released again into the wild the first one was shot dead as soon as it arrived in Pateley Bridge.
