Yesterday we had a pheasant, jackdaw, blackbird, woodpigeon and coot all eating around our birdtable at the same time. It looked quite humourous - I only wish our partridge had made an appearance too. Should have had my camera at the ready!!!
Only just seen this thread but just had to tell you that I moved to Wiltshire recently and was sat up in bed last weekend when, through the window, I saw 5 buzzards circling. When I got up to take a closer look, there was another group of 5 circling nearby. So that's 10 buzzards!!!
It was actually 2 families and their young, so 4 adults in all. They were all practising stooping and soaring together. Amazing sight. The adults are so huge.
I'm glad I moved here...!
