to all abbers and to missy r my request is not for money just your signiture, to help this family who i have never met keep saxon, the story is real and being watch by people around the world, this story is different because the handler and his family want to keep him and is being stopped by the police force thats what is so wrong.

This is not about some cute fluffy animal. This is about an animal that is so dangerous that even trained police handlers can no longer control it. It presents a real danger to people. It should be put down.

Jenstar, I hope that you have an animal (probably not) that you care and love, and something happens to it so you feel very bad and expect people to feel for the animal, if you also read it properly the handler and his family want the dog, so it must be ok to keep.

Yes, I have animals. But I care about animals *as* animals, not as canvases for anthropomorphism and sentimentality. I do not imagine them to be little people as you apparently do. (Seeing as you suggest not only that I should "feel for" them, but that I should expect *other people* to "feel for" my animals as well. I would not expect any such thing as I do not labour under the delusion that animals have the sort of human-type thought processes which would enable me to empathise with them, or indeed they with me.)

More importantly to this particular case, I do not insist on bringing animals that have been selectively bred and then submitted to intensive training as attack animals into a domestic setting, because that would be a really stupid and dangerous thing to do.
