jenstar you obviously have not taken the time to read everything on the websites about this animals plight otherwise you would realise that this dog has been living with the handlers family for four of its five years of age already. As you have animals yourself i suggest you would agree that you have more of an understanding about your own animals than a complete stranger would, given that you spend so much time with them! or are you saying that you have so little understanding that you dont know in what situation your own animals may or may not be dangerous? have you never said dont worry it doesnt bite or be careful it does bite? why would you think that this family are just sentimental and stupid about bringing saxon into their home when the police themselves have given their approval to this situation for the last four years and, if you read the websites, this animal has already proven himself to be a trusted family member as he has failed to bite maul or kill anyone in this enviroment. im sure the family would not want the dog if as you say it was just a dangerous attack dog as you put it. the other thing to bear in mind is this dog, as you so rightly pointed out, is intensively trained and given that it has spent its life obeying commands i would finish by saying it is much less likely to be a danger to the public than some moron who owns a pit bull terrier or any dog for that matter, that has no training whatsoever and is allowed to run off the lead. ( the insult is to the moron and not the poor dog owned by the moron!) your attitude is both insulting to those that care enough to love animals and an indication of how little understanding you have of your own poor pets who must have a very unrewarding life given that you dont recognise the fact that animals have personalities! or is it that you are just a sad little attention seeker? Shame on you

I have just read Saxon's story .I am so angry I'm shaking. I have Sent an e-mail to the link provided & told them what I think in no uncertain terms. Jumped -up busybodies.with stone for hearts ,Thats what they are. I have also signed the petition. I have just phoned my daughter she's going to read saxon's story too & I know she will sign . Good luck to Saxon The thought of him being destroyed for doing what he has been trained for ,just makes my blood boil.
